In the Garden of Love – Blonay Fuchs and his Art
As painter, graphic artist and sculptor Blonay Fuchs is also a gardener. His stones and woods, which he works over with his chisel and hammer, appear to be growing in his garden, in an urban setting of paradise. Among this proliferating nature, Blonay Fuchs is again in the land of his childhood: his garden of paradise is a source of inspiration. In it, the lust for living feeds on swelling buds and ample plumage. From out of this fertile soil ascend life and art ever anew, united in loving arms. They imprint themselves on his stones and woods, as forms of procreation, of genesis, of the battle of the sexes – as a struggle for unity. The swelling shapes of growth in nature emboss, on paper and canvas, the erotic formation of the female figure as vessel of desire. The sand-subdued oil colors, applied to coarse canvasses, promise no consummation, but instead indicate germination with buds blossoming. The oil colors streak the canvas, fleetingly, not wanting to settle, to cement theme and form. As painter, graphic artist and sculptor he really is a gardener, as he revives the image-powers of nature in his pictorial world. Going about his journeys, he gathers them in sketches, graphics and water colors, placing them as seed in humus, out of which the new germinates. Lust for the new, for new people and pictorial design, enriches his Garden of Lusts, turning them into a Garden of Love.

About The Images
Born and grown up in East Germany Sabine Kutt witnessed the fall of the Berlin wall, she moved to the USA in 2001 and now lives in Sao Paulo, Brazil since 2014. Her European background, her deep knowledge of the American culture and her new experiences in South America are woven into an artistic carpet which unmistakably finds its echo in her photographic works.
Sabine’s early work in choreography and dance significantly influenced her later appreciation of the art of photography. She believes that her images reflect the dynamic structure of movement. She also composes photographs as stage scenes, taking the visitor into another world when the curtain opens.
The world she explores is to be found in our imaginations and memories and dreams; a world of past and future. As such, the images are ethereal and diffused. It is her hope to capture this deeper part of our lives in my pictures, bringing them to the surface and into the present.
